Hi Bob! Happy 2010 to your and yours, too. Just a note of appreciation for the
elegantly simple and positively straight-forward New Years Toast email I received
from you.
Thank You & all the better best in 2010,

And a VERY Happy New Year to you also!! It was quite a year that last one was. Lots of ups and too many downs. Now its 2010 and time to not look back again. Or at least not at the bad… only the good!

Thank you for your friendship. Now perhaps I’ll actually practice this year! I spent last year spending money on cool stuff. Now I’ll be in “Manual Warfare” reading all the manuals that came with all I bought… and that was a LOT! Too much really but it was fun!

All the Best!

Bob! A Happy New Year To You As Well! Right now I’m trying to decide about getting your Getting the right sound , tone package. My current gear is: a 2001 Jackson gtr, a 1977 Ovation electric acoustic, Carvin Legacy 212 combo amp, line 6 pod x3 live floorboard processor, digitech whammy pedal II, and finally a electro harmonix golden throat II original talkbox! Any advice on getting and nailing C.C.Deville’s tone from Poison would be GREATLY appreciated! Warm Regards , Lloyd Sarno Cleveland , Ohio

Hey Bob,

Happy New Year ! I have really been enjoying all the guitar resources on your site. The speed picking lessons got me back on track. I had been using the economy picking method and it’s true that it falls apart when you try speed it up. Thanks for that little bit of knowledge.

I have a 1965 Fender Strat that has original nickel plated frets and they are starting to tarnish. Any ideas on how to stop the aging process on this? I don’t really want to have it re-fretted so I can keep it original. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Keep Rockin’
